Menus are changed regularly and include bar snacks, light lunches and a la carte selections. Local ingredients are used where possible. You can relax with a drink by the open fire or in the garden. Our 2 buildings were originally constructed by William Harold, a carpenter, who built a house and workshop around 1750. In 1871, William Harold III converted the house into a public house and in 1981, the workshops were converted into bed and breakfast accommodation. The picture is completed by the pretty hotel gardens, alongside the river, which is popular with rowers, boating enthusiasts and for fishing holidays. The current owners, two very experienced hoteliers and restaurateurs acquired The Old Mill in April 1998. Since then they have completed an extensive refurbishment programme, resulting in all bedrooms, banqueting rooms and the restaurant and bar, being totally redecorated and refurbished.
